The accounting platform for Maltese companies

You upload We keep the books.

Send in an invoice and it is read and coded within minutes. A qualified accountant then reviews it. The machines do the volume — our accountants do the judgement, and you see the figures once they have been approved.

Vacei is the software. The accounting, tax and audit behind it are delivered by A4 Services Limited, a licensed Maltese accounting and audit firm.

• Built AI-native

We're not bolting AI onto an accounting firm. The firm is built around it.

Vacei is what accounting looks like rebuilt around AI. The machines do the volume — reading documents, coding transactions, matching the bank, preparing the close. Licensed accountants and auditors at A4, the Maltese firm behind the platform, do the judgement, the risk and the sign-off.

AI agents check every transaction in real time, and a qualified accountant approves every figure before it reaches you. Faster closes, deeper assurance, no year-end surprises.

• What we offer

One way in. One portal.

The offer
Bookkeeping, reviewed by an accountant

You send the documents. They are read and coded within minutes, a qualified accountant checks the work, and the month is closed against your bank. Nothing reaches your figures before that review.

Self-employed

Those are the entry prices, {{ priceEntryScope }}. The fee steps up with your spend from there — every band is published — and busy transaction volumes or further bank accounts add on top, priced instantly in the quote. VAT return preparation and submission is quoted separately. Older months are charged at your own monthly rate.

• One document, end to end

How a month closes.

One document, from the photo you take of it to the return it ends up in — and where the accountant sits in that.

01 You
Send it in

Photograph the invoice on your phone, or forward the email it arrived in. That is your whole job.

02 Vacei
Read and coded

Supplier, date, net, VAT and the account code are pulled off the document within minutes of it landing.

03 Your accountant
Checked by a person

A qualified accountant at A4 approves the entry — or comes back to you with one question, not twenty.

04 Vacei
Posted to your books

It lands in the right account and the right period. Your figures move only once that approval has happened.

05 Your accountant
The month closes

The VAT return and your management figures are built from entries that were already approved, so nothing is rebuilt at the deadline.

You see where every document is the whole way along. The figures move once a person has signed them off.

• The portal

One portal. The software
and the accountants behind it.

Upload from your phone or your inbox, watch the work move, approve what needs you. Everything else — tax, payroll, audit, company setup — is requested in the same place.

Everything a Maltese
company has to file.

Bookkeeping is the monthly offer. Everything else below is requested from the same portal and priced on its own line.

Technology plus accountants. Everything above, delivered in one portal.

• Progress tracking

Every request, tracked to done.

Audit, payroll, VAT — each engagement moves through its stages in the portal, with the deadline, the budget and the team on it. Nothing waits for a status email.

Audit · 65% · Progressing · next deadline CFR filing, due in 3 days
• What happens to a document

Status straight away.
Figures once approved.

Every document you send follows the same five stages, and you can see which one it is at from the moment it arrives. What you do not see is a figure nobody qualified has checked — that only appears at Approved.

{{ s.chip }}
{{ s.title }}

{{ s.body }}

You see the status of every document today, not in April. You see the figures once an accountant has approved them. That order is the point: it is why the numbers you are shown are numbers you can act on.

Live
FS AI Review

Statements checked before they leave the building.

When a draft set of financial statements comes out of your books, it is checked against GAPSME presentation and disclosure requirements, internal consistency, casting, and prior-year comparatives. The accountant reviewing your file gets a marked list of what needs attention, not a score — and decides what to do about it. It is part of the work, not a separate purchase.

• Pricing

One price for your books.
It follows what you spend.

Bookkeeping is one monthly fee, set by your monthly expenses — spending is what produces the paperwork, so a business that spends more pays more, and one that spends less is not subsidising it. A qualified accountant reviews the work at every band. VAT returns, payroll, the tax return and the audit are priced on their own lines. The quotation below builds your exact figure.

• Why Vacei

Software gives you a ledger. We give you a closed one.

You are not the bookkeeper. Accounting software is sold on being easy, and it is — once you know which account a fuel receipt belongs in, what to do with a supplier credit note, and why the bank doesn't match. We already know. That is the product.

Automated where it's dull, human where it counts. Extraction, matching and routing run automatically because machines don't get bored on page four hundred. Coding, judgement and anything that gets signed is done by an accountant, because those carry liability and software cannot hold it.

Licensed in Malta, filing in Malta. GAPSME, the VAT Act, the MBR, the imputation system. Vacei is the platform; the accounting and audit are delivered by A4, a licensed Maltese firm.
