Vacei is what accounting looks like rebuilt around AI. The machines do the volume — reading documents, coding transactions, matching the bank, preparing the close. Licensed accountants and auditors at A4, the Maltese firm behind the platform, do the judgement, the risk and the sign-off.
AI agents check every transaction in real time, and a qualified accountant approves every figure before it reaches you. Faster closes, deeper assurance, no year-end surprises.
You send the documents. They are read and coded within minutes, a qualified accountant checks the work, and the month is closed against your bank. Nothing reaches your figures before that review.
You can add or drop any of them, whenever you like.
One document, from the photo you take of it to the return it ends up in — and where the accountant sits in that.
Photograph the invoice on your phone, or forward the email it arrived in. That is your whole job.
Supplier, date, net, VAT and the account code are pulled off the document within minutes of it landing.
A qualified accountant at A4 approves the entry — or comes back to you with one question, not twenty.
It lands in the right account and the right period. Your figures move only once that approval has happened.
The VAT return and your management figures are built from entries that were already approved, so nothing is rebuilt at the deadline.
You see where every document is the whole way along. The figures move once a person has signed them off.
Upload from your phone or your inbox, watch the work move, approve what needs you. Everything else — tax, payroll, audit, company setup — is requested in the same place.
Bookkeeping is the monthly offer. Everything else below is requested from the same portal and priced on its own line.

Send us your invoices, receipts and bank statements. Each one is read and coded within minutes, a qualified accountant approves it, and everything is matched against your bank and closed each month — so your accounts are ready when you need them.
The check our accountants run over a draft set of financial statements — GAPSME presentation and disclosure, casting, internal consistency and prior-year comparatives — before the statements go anywhere. It is part of the work we do for you, not something you buy separately.
Accounting firms can license it as FS Reviewer and run it over their own client files.
FS Reviewer for firms →Tell us who is on the payroll and what changed this month. We produce the payslips, handle the government forms, and make sure everyone is paid the right amount on the right day.
Request it today and we run it.
How payroll works →Your returns are prepared from books we already keep, so nothing is rebuilt from scratch at the deadline. We tell you what you owe and when, before it becomes urgent.
Request it today and we run it.
How tax and VAT work →Form a Maltese company without a single meeting. Upload your documents, answer a short set of questions, and you see your fee immediately — no waiting for a quote.
If your company needs a statutory audit, we run it on our connected audit platform — straight off the same ledger, instead of a year of email attachments. If you only want your statements checked before they go out, upload a draft set.

How audit and review work →Winding a company down has its own filings and deadlines. We handle the process end to end and tell you what is left at each stage.
Technology plus accountants. Everything above, delivered in one portal.
Audit, payroll, VAT — each engagement moves through its stages in the portal, with the deadline, the budget and the team on it. Nothing waits for a status email.
Every document you send follows the same five stages, and you can see which one it is at from the moment it arrives. What you do not see is a figure nobody qualified has checked — that only appears at Approved.

You see the status of every document today, not in April. You see the figures once an accountant has approved them. That order is the point: it is why the numbers you are shown are numbers you can act on.
When a draft set of financial statements comes out of your books, it is checked against GAPSME presentation and disclosure requirements, internal consistency, casting, and prior-year comparatives. The accountant reviewing your file gets a marked list of what needs attention, not a score — and decides what to do about it. It is part of the work, not a separate purchase.
VEE is the assistant inside your portal. It knows your ledger, your deadlines and your documents — ask a question in plain words and the answer comes back with the figures behind it.
Snap an invoice at the counter and it is coded, matched to your bank and waiting in the ledger before you get back to the office. Approve what needs you, ask the assistant the rest.
One company's ledger, as it arrived and as it runs now. Hover either side to watch it play.
Bookkeeping is one monthly fee, set by your monthly expenses — spending is what produces the paperwork, so a business that spends more pays more, and one that spends less is not subsidising it. A qualified accountant reviews the work at every band. VAT returns, payroll, the tax return and the audit are priced on their own lines. The quotation below builds your exact figure.

Full prices, before any discount, with one bank account at the lowest transaction volume included; busy volumes and further accounts add on top. Expenses means money going out of the business in a month — not turnover, and not the number of transactions. Earlier months you need caught up are charged at your own band's monthly rate.
In full: everything that leaves the business in a typical month — supplier bills, wages, rent, software, the lot. Exclude VAT, loan repayments, and transfers between your own accounts. New or seasonal? Use your average over the last three months.
{{ promoCardNote }}
From the moment a document lands, that is when you see it proposed and reviewed.
Reconciled and closed, so the figures you look at are the figures we would file from.
A backdated month costs the same as a live one — your full monthly rate, charged once. Twelve months for a low-volume company at the entry band with one bank account is 12 × €49 = €588. There is no cap and no yearly bundle.
We do not put a number on this yet. What it takes depends on the state the records are in, so we quote it once we have seen them — before anything is agreed, never on the invoice.

Every Maltese company files audited financial statements each year — regardless of size. That is why the line says "if applicable": what changes is the kind of engagement, not whether one is due.
Small companies usually qualify for a review engagement instead — roughly under €93k turnover with a small balance sheet. It is the lighter option at about half the cost, and it is what we price by default.
High volume means a full audit. Above roughly 150 transactions a month a company rarely stays under the thresholds, so we price the full engagement — if your figures come in under, the fee drops.
We confirm which applies from your figures before anything is agreed — you would hear it from us first, never on the invoice.

You are not the bookkeeper. Accounting software is sold on being easy, and it is — once you know which account a fuel receipt belongs in, what to do with a supplier credit note, and why the bank doesn't match. We already know. That is the product.
Automated where it's dull, human where it counts. Extraction, matching and routing run automatically because machines don't get bored on page four hundred. Coding, judgement and anything that gets signed is done by an accountant, because those carry liability and software cannot hold it.
